Who We Are

Mrs. Jaya Lakshmi, founder of Prabhata Sindhuri Rehabilitation Centre, is not only a dedicated professional but also a parent of a special child, which makes her journey deeply personal and inspiring. To better support her daughter, she restarted her education career, completing her Diploma from NIMH (now NIEPID), followed by a Degree in Special Education and a Post-Graduation in Psychology.

With over six years of experience as a special educator and administrator, she gained rich expertise in working with children with intellectual and developmental disabilities. In 2009, driven by compassion and determination, she established her own NGO along with the strong support of her husband, Mr. Srinivas.

Her vision continues to guide the centre in creating an inclusive, nurturing, and empowering environment for children and their families.
